Experience:-
I have worked in the local authority sport and leisure industry for 36 years – in various roles from lifeguarding to teaching all types of fitness classes to management. I have first-hand experience of what it’s like when a close family member is diagnosed with dementia, and the challenges that can bring. I work avidly to support people living with dementia and their families through sport, physical activity and special events, so that they can continue to be an important part of their communities.
